Jefferson Parish Hosts Public Meetings for JP Next Framework Report
JEFFERSON, LA – Planning and zoning firm, Camiros, with the assistance of the Jefferson Parish Planning Department, will be hosting two public meetings to present the Framework Report for JP NEXT.
Jefferson Parish is undertaking a comprehensive update of its development regulations to create a Unified Development Code (UDC) that better reflects Parish policies, existing development patterns, community priorities, and modern regulatory practices. This project, known as JP NEXT, will consolidate and modernize the Parish’s existing zoning and development regulations, particularly Chapters 33 and 40, while addressing regulatory gaps, inconsistencies, outdated provisions, and emerging development issues.
