JP NEXT is focused on updating Jefferson Parish’s development regulations to better meet the needs of the community, present and future. The initiative will help to expand housing options to support residents at all stages of life, promote sustainable development patterns that strengthen neighborhoods, and make the development process more clear, predictable, and transparent. At the same time, it will modernize outdated zoning standards and establish a more balanced approach that both supports the preservation of the Parish's existing character and creates opportunities for future growth.
